How to Capture a Screen Shot

If you want to take a picture of your computer screen, here are two ways to do accomplish this goal.

Google Chrome Users: Open Google Chrome and download Awesome Screenshot Capture and Annotate from the Chrome Web Store.  After you download and install this free app, a small icon will appear in the top right corner of your browser screen.  By clicking the icon, you will be able to capture the whole page or any portion, annotate it with rectangles, circles, arrows, lines and text, blur sensitive info, and more!

Standard Method: Simply press Ctrl  plus the PRINT key on your keyboard to capture the screen as an image*, open Microsoft Word or Apple Pages and press Ctrl plus V on your keyboard.

*Nothing will visibly happen when you do this.  What you don’t see is your computer places the image on its internal memory clipboard.
